Apologies and an Update

Due to a prolonged and difficult illness (fondly referred to as the virus from hell), I was unable to post February's challenge. For roughly 18 days, the only time I ventured from my bed was to visit the bathroom; and in the first two weeks, even getting there was a struggle. I credit my husband with my survival because I truly believe I may not be here if not for his incredible care during the worst of my illness. Even now, almost exactly a month from the time I became sick, I am still struggling with my recovery due to lingering symptoms.

That being the case, I have made the decision to cancel March's challenge as well. As difficult as it was for me to make that choice, I need to put my health first.

I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. Hopefully, March will provide me with the additional time I need to recover so that we can return in April. However, I make no promises at this time. I will need to see what fate has in store for me.

I hope that you and your families remain healthy and well in which ever corner of this world you live!

Cheers,
Lisa

Challenge #108 Midway: ANYTHING GOES CHRISTMAS with the Optional Twist…DIE CUTS and/or EMBOSSING

Welcome back crafters! It is the 15th of the month and that means it is time for the midway of our current challenge. I hope that you and your families all continue to stay well in the various regions that you reside.

Right now, as we are halfway through the month of January, it is time to see what the Merry Maidens have been up to! Helen is joining us for the midway this month. Clicking on the DT names will take you to the individual blogs where you can check out the details for both of these wonderful cards.

So if you haven't entered already, what are you waiting for? It is time to link up your Christmas and other holiday cards for January. Below you will find a refresher of the details for this challenge.

Please remember that this is a CARDS ONLY link up. While we've had some lovely tag entries, ornaments and other creative projects in the past, we've sadly had to disqualify them.

Challenge #108

  ANYTHING GOES with the

Optional Twist:

DIE CUTS and/or EMBOSSING

Our theme, as always, is ANYTHING GOES CHRISTMAS (or in celebration of other December holidays). If you want to challenge yourself, you can always follow our optional twist of Die Cuts and/or Embossing. You can just use a die cut or choose to use an embossing folder (or use pre-embossed paper), or you could use both!

Keep in mind though, that you don't need to follow the twist to link up your cards and earn a free paper each month or for a chance to win your choice of TWO Christmas or Winter themed mini kits of digital papers from Décosse's Dynamite Doodles. Following the twist is simply for fun and to challenge yourself if you'd like.

Here is a preview of January's paper for those adding TWO cards to this month's link up:

If you are new to this unique challenge, you can find out the impetus behind why I started it under the 'Introductions' tab. As this is a different kind of link up where we have both an Anything Goes Christmas or other December Holiday option AND an optional twist to follow, be sure to read all the details and rules you need to know in order to participate, by checking out the 'Challenge Details' tab (both tabs located at the top of the blog). I have provided a summary of the most important rules in the right sidebar.

You can find the link up for
Challenge #108 by clicking HERE.

Don't Forget, if everything goes according to plan...

I'll hopefully be publishing the winner announcement from Challenge #106 sometime in the next two weeks. Then, please join us on February 1st when we'll be back with our newest link up! Other special posts may be published throughout the month. Be sure to follow us through Bloglovin' so you don't miss a thing!

Challenge #107 Midway: ANYTHING GOES CHRISTMAS

Welcome back crafters! It is the middle of the month and that means there are still two weeks left in our current Link Up. Since the team is taking December off, there are no DT samples in this post.

For today, I am just popping in to remind you of the details of our current challenge. Here is what you need to know...

Challenge #107

Optional Twist: ANYTHING GOES

The Sleigh Belles and Merry Maidens have been working hard all year to get their Christmas cards created. As such, I gave the team the opportunity to take a much deserved break from having to post this month.

Our theme, as always, is ANYTHING GOES CHRISTMAS (or in celebration of other December holidays). We're not having an optional twist this month and strictly keeping it Anything Goes as long as it is still Christmas themed.

Link up two cards and earn a free paper each month or enter any card for a chance to win your choice of TWO Christmas or Winter themed mini kits of digital papers from Décosse's Dynamite Doodles.

Here is a preview of December's paper for those adding two cards to this month's link up:
